Frequently Asked Questions

  • When a client arrives for their session, they are greeted, and shown the massage room. A verbal intake is performed and I go from the verbal intake to find out every day life activity, injuries, allergies and what the expectation of the client is for that session. Every individual is different and unique and I assess which of the modalities combined would be the best outcome for their expectations. I use many modalities often combined such as swedish, MFR, stretching, Muscle activation, cupping, gua sha, microcurrent, red light and sometimes even tuning fork.

  • Please schedule only the one hour session, and leave a message when scheduling on Vagaro. An intake form will be emailed to you and will need to be completed prior to your appointment. A prescription from your physician along with a diagnosis code is necessary for me to bill your insurance company and a prior authorization from your  insurance provider stating that you are covered to get massage therapy from a massage therapist  is also needed before I will bill your insurance company.

  • I never have a set amount of time to tell people, as everyone is unique and different. Depending on activity level and if an injury is being treated, sometimes a few appointments closer together may be beneficial before getting into what I call a maintenance routine. That may vary from person to person. Getting in body work when you can is better than none at all.
